Community Service

Are you looking for volunteer opportunities?

While Community Service is not a graduation requirement, some classes do require it.

Plus, it is just a great thing to do!

The MVHS Counseling Department has created a new page in your Navi account to assist you in your volunteer search. All you need to do is:

1.     Log onto your "Navi" account (

a.      Username: 9 digit Student ID

b.      Password: Date of Birth (ddmmyyyy) with no spaces, slashes or dashes.

2.      Click on the Career & Community’ link on the home screen on the upper left side of the page

Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Community Service Opportunities Available.

There you will find lots of resources for volunteerism, updated by the MVHS Counseling staff.

If you already have a community service job and need a form to keep track of your hours, you will find the Community Service Log on our Forms page.

While Mission Vista doesn't require a permission form before you can volunteer, some community service agencies and settings do. If that is the case, print out the Community Service Permission Form from our Forms page. This form will need to be signed by your Parent and your Counselor.

If you have any questions or problems, contact your Counselor.
