About Me

Some information about me, I attended Empresa Elementary School, Roosevelt Middle School, and graduated from Vista High School, so Vista Unified School District is very near and dear to my heart. After completing my BA from San Marcos State University, I worked with former foster youth ages 18-24 in a transitional housing program and saw the need for earlier intervention in young lives. I went to Azusa Pacific University to obtain my teaching credential and an MA in digital teaching and learning. This is my third year as a teacher in Vista Unified and I plan to stay with this district for my career. I recently got married to my husband, Brian, who works in IT and am the proud mom of our fur baby, Lola. During the weekends we spend a lot of time with family and friends at our new home in Fallbrook and binge watching Netflix.
